I can't believe this my first post of this year. It's been so busy at work & with family activities it's been a whirlwind. I have however been making a few cards here and there. It's so nice when I do get the chance to do my crafting. Here are a few of the cards I've made lately...
This one I made of one of niece's birthday earlier this month & she loved it!

I just want them to know auntie is thinking about them. I used a few new (to me) techniques making these cards. With the second one I tried a few thing I discovered on YouTube, On the circle I embellished it using the technique in this
YouTube link about using border punches in a circle or oval. The crafter in this video is brilliant, her name is Veronica and this is also a link to her
blog. The ribbon I used was not the right color so I colored it with one of my COPIC makers, E15 is the color I used. The pearl like embellishments I used on the ribbon is a technique using my hot glue gun and Perfect Pearl powder. Here is the YouTube video for that technique...
Hot Glue Gun Pearls. I love all the discoveries I've been making on YouTube. I often amazed at the genius and brilliance I discover from others and I hope all these discoveries are stoking my creative imagination.
I left this one blank inside for now, I'll use it for someone special when I feel they need a special lift.
Well, that's it for now...
Happy Scrappin' & Card making!!

Wow, Omega, you have been busy. These cards are lovely. I was looking at the punched circle (now that I know the technique you used...lol) and was wondering which die set it was from. Now I know!!! Your nieces are sooo lucky to have you for their auntie. Thanks for the mention of my blog and YouTube Channel.
Hugs,
Vee

Hi Karen,
I was hoping to email you but couldn't find a link. I wish I could participate but right now it's difficult for me to find the time during the week. I try to get online sometimes on my lunch break but my evening are already otherwies engaged. I do what I can on the weekends but it's hard to keep up with deadlines. I'm new at all this and do have some question for future reference.
Thanks for the invite and I hope to participate in the near future so please keep me in mind.
Good Evening to you,
You have been getting down with card making and I am so sure the recipients are going to enjoy the lovely details!
